SiteGalaxy Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This policy covers the SiteGalaxy plugin for WordPress (Free, Pro, and Agency) and the SiteGalaxy store at jsrgventures.com. SiteGalaxy is made by JSRG Ventures (“JSRG,” “we,” “us”), based in Orlando, Florida. Browsing the rest of jsrgventures.com is covered by our main Privacy Policy.

The short version: SiteGalaxy works on your site, and your site’s content stays there. We collect only what we need to sell you a license, deliver updates, and support you.

What Stays on Your Site

Every version of SiteGalaxy runs inside your own WordPress install. Your pages, posts, links, scans, maps, categories, and restructuring plans are stored in your own database. We don’t receive them, and we can’t see them.

SiteGalaxy Free doesn’t send anything to us or to any other outside service. During a scan, it makes one request to your own homepage to read the links built into your theme, and its background scan tasks run through your own site. The only time it reaches beyond your site is when you click one of its links, such as Need help?, which opens a page in your browser. SiteGalaxy Free gets updates through WordPress.org like any other plugin in the directory, and WordPress.org’s own privacy policy applies to that.

What Pro and Agency Send Us

Pro and Agency check in with jsrgventures.com when you activate or deactivate your license, about once a day while someone is signed in to your site’s admin to confirm the license is still active, and about twice a day to check for updates (update checks run even before you enter a license key). Each check sends only:

  • Your license key, once you’ve entered one
  • The web address of the site where the plugin is installed
  • Which product the key is for (SiteGalaxy)
  • What kind of site it is, as WordPress labels it: production, staging, development, or local
  • What the check is for: activating, deactivating, confirming the license, or checking for updates

Like any web request, these check-ins also carry your server’s IP address. If you use an Agency license on client sites, the addresses of those sites are included. We use this information to enforce your plan’s site limit, deliver the right updates, and help you if something goes wrong. We don’t use it for advertising. Beyond these check-ins, Pro and Agency work like Free: your site’s content stays on your site.

What We Collect When You Buy

When you buy Pro or Agency, our store collects your name, email address, and billing address, plus your order history and license details. We also keep a record of your agreement to automatic renewal. If you answer the optional “how did you hear about us” question at checkout, we keep that too.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number. Stripe’s handling of your payment information is covered by Stripe’s privacy policy.

Emails We Send

We email you about your purchase: receipts, license keys, a reminder before each yearly renewal, notice of any price change, failed-payment notices, and important product or security updates. These are part of the service. We won’t add you to a marketing list unless you ask to join one.

Cookies and Analytics

The SiteGalaxy pages and store on jsrgventures.com use cookies to keep your cart working, to help Stripe prevent fraud, and to measure traffic through Google Analytics. The plugin itself doesn’t set cookies on your site or for your site’s visitors, and it adds nothing to your public pages.

Who We Share Information With

We don’t sell your information. We share it only with the services that help us run the store:

  • Stripe, to process payments
  • Our web host, which stores our site and store data
  • Our email provider, to send receipts, license emails, and renewal reminders
  • Google Analytics, for traffic measurement on jsrgventures.com

We may also share information if the law requires it.

How Long We Keep It

We keep order and billing records as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes. We keep your renewal agreement record for as long as the law requires, which is at least three years or one year after your license ends, whichever is longer. We keep license and site-activation records while your license is active and for up to two years afterward, so you can renew or reactivate without starting over.

Your Choices

You can see your orders and licenses, cancel automatic renewal, and deactivate a site from your license on the Order History page. To see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, email us at admin@jsrgventures.com. We’ll reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some records the law requires us to keep, such as completed orders.

If You’re in the EU or UK

JSRG Ventures is the controller of the information described in this policy. We use your order and license information because we need it to carry out our agreement with you, we keep accounting records because the law requires it, and we use analytics and support information based on our legitimate interest in running and improving SiteGalaxy. Your information is processed in the United States.

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or move your information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Email admin@jsrgventures.com to use any of these rights.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we handle information from existing customers, we’ll tell you by email before it takes effect.
